Love, Mommy, the Q of A
I wasn't planning on writing anymore than the above, but we are waiting for our picture to post. Yesterday, we visited the street where my Dad lived. The picture is right around the corner from that street.
Today, we visited Yunnan Normal University Business School. One of the waiters befriended us and invited us to visit his school. It is situated in the foothills of the unversity. Our understanding is that 40% of the students pass the exam that allows them to attend a university. Then, this afternoon our two youngest children took an almost four hour nap. They are exhausted and we were so glad that they were able to sleep so long today. Tomorrow we have a free day and will visit Green Lake Park which is down the street from our hotel. I believe that our finished paperwork should also come tomorrow. Tuesday afternoon, we are off to Guangzhou and probably won't post again until Wednesday if we find a computer.
When we get home, we will have to post some other pictures. Plus, we'll be able to zoom in more than we can here.

Happy Mother's Day! Thank you for your message by blog and phone call. We are grateful for our children and grandchildren. As mothers and grandmothers, in so many instances, we are passing on the gifts given to us. We are blessed, thank you, Lord! Are those two pagodas near where Fritz lived? We enjoyed Helen's cooking and the company and good humor of both. They will call when they arrive at home tonight.

I think the picture is a big, huge bridge that you can't get on to. I think I would feel a little scared going onto the bridge, because it might fall down. I want to ask you if you felt scared going underneath it. What if it fell down on you? I like the book you gave me today very much. Thank you for A Better Bicycle and Stone Fox. Happy Mother's Day!! I miss you!! Love, Benjamin

The picture looked good. Thank you for the book, The Day the Sheep Showed Up and the Snowy Trail. We sang at church this morning. Then, Po-Po and Gong-Gong took us to IHOP for lunch for Mother's Day. We gave Po-Po a card we made and yellow roses from the back yard. Love, Nathaniel
Dear Mom and Dad:
I miss you. We had lots of fun on Saturday. Mrs. McCoy picked us up at 12:30, than we went to the Theater and went to the Green room and sat down. After that we prayed in our groups. Than the people in the green room put on a movie and the dancers kept getting loud and Lisa, the back stage Instructor, kept having to tell then to be quiet. Our Teacher told us that she was praying that she would get the best class in the whole Production and she did! we got into our Costumes. After a little while we got into a line and went into the wing and got our wings on. This year the wings are very cool!
they are on hula hoops and are round and they look
like last years, they have gold, red and blue.
Are we going to buy a DVD of it? I think Grandma, Uncle Jim & Gong-Gong & Po-Po want to. I miss you and love you.
Love,
Benjamin
That precious little girl clings to you as though she's waited forever for you.
Jodie will want to get some addresses from you before the girls make their trip next month.
She has a request in so she can read your blog, I think. I told her she had to get your permission.
I'm counting the days until you get back. I wish I could see that homecoming.
You're a beautiful family and it's my honor to be part of it.
Love to all.
It is such a joy to be able to track you with this blog. Thank you. We are praying for you and your safe return. The pictures are precious...what beautiful children you have. Hugs, hugs, and more hugs!
love to you all,
Esta
