I haven't written much of anything lately. I'll have to do a milestones update on our last several months. We've had several birthdays and lots of fun times.
We have been experiencing some fairly significant attachment issues with Hannah which leave me drained by the end of the day. Please pray that this surgery will not send her into a tailspin. She will be facing most of her triggers in a short period of time and will come home in no-nos which are arm restraints. Our prayer is that this surgery will help her to trust us more and be willing to allow us to love her.

Hi Joyce! So glad to see an update. I have been wondering how everything is going. I will be praying for Hannah and your whole family during this stressful time. I remember the arm restraints well. That wasn't the hardest thing for Matthew, however. The hardest part was the pureed food. He still has food issues so only giving him food in a cup was very traumatic for him. I am praying that Hannah's little heart will receive all of the love her family has for her!
Please tell Elizabeth that Anna says hello. Her beautiful picture hangs on the wall inour play room (as do all of the pictures you have sent us) with a big sign that anna has made saying "My penpal who lives in California".
How are you feeling? When is your due date? Do you know if you're having a boy or a girl?
Carrie
Praying for you. Good to see the update!
Sara and Anna and Callie got together with several of the other families in KY last weekend, and they had a great time.
I pray Hannah is doing OK by now...and you as well. I haven't checked in much, but still think about your family often and pray that Hannah settles in more as time goes by. Blessings to all of you. Jennifer
OMGosh! August 8th is almost here! How are you feeling and are you still on track for an august 8th delivery?
